The Port of Vilagarcía is one of the biggest economic engines of Arousa and O Salnés areas, as it is a reception and distribution centre of merchandises of a wide hinterland.
The port grounds take up an approximate total surface of 430.000 square meters, from which a 55% are given to private concessions.
The berth line reaches 1.980 meters, where 615 of them have a depth of 11 meters (LLW), and the rest of them have a depth of 7,5 meters approximately.
The Port of Vilagarcía is betting for a reasonable and supported growth, perfectly compatible with the rest of the productive sectors of this rich enclave that is the Ría of Arousa.
